What are the Most Common Reasons for Divorce

Posted by Vincent C. DeLuca | Oct 13, 2020 | 0 Comments

There are many reasons why couples end of divorcing.  One of the most common reasons is infidelity.  Over time as a result of children being born, work commitments and the like couples drift apart.  Often times this drifting apart leads to an affair.  Individuals who feel rejected or lonely may turn to social media in an attempt to reconnect with old acquaintances or become close with someone they may know from the gym and start a new relationship.

Other common reasons for couples to breakup involve financial reasons.  If money is tight or one spouse feels as though the other is spending too much money this can lead to frequent disagreements between the parties.

Another popular reason for couples divorcing is the result of domestic violence.  Domestic violence can take many forms both physical and or emotional.  It is not fair for someone who is being abused to stay in an unhappy marriage.   Unfortunately, individuals who are in an abusive relationship feel as though they have no ability to escape out of the abusive relationship.

Whatever the reason everyone deserves the right to be happy.  If you are in an unhealthy relationship and you are unhappy you may want to make the necessary steps to find out what your rights are with regard to pursuing a divorce.
